Quick Start with Firefox



After Hide IP Platinum is launched, you could find an earth icon in the Windows tray. It popup a balloon and say it's updating. This means it's downloading the latest proxy server list from our server. Don't do anything with Hide IP Platinum at this time.



After updating, Hide IP Platinum will search proxy server available for you. The earth icon keeps spinning.



Hide IP Platinum stop spinning and popup a balloon with an IP number. This means Hide IP Platinum has found a proxy server and set it as your current proxy server. This message is only available on windows me/2000/xp/2003.



When you move your mouse on the Hide IP Platinum tray icon it will show a hint. If “Proxy: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” is showed it means current proxy server is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.



If “Hide IP Platinum” is showed, this means there is no proxy server has been used.



Right click on the tray icon and select Stop Hide IP. Hide IP Platinum is disabled. You are surfing Internet without using proxy server.

When you right click on the tray icon a menu will be showed. You may learn more about these commands on the Operation page.
